We are looking for comic submissions — single strips, continuing storylines, and self-contained story comics.

MAX SIZE: 8.5" x 11" per page (for full page comics keep all important information 0.5" inside page margin)

COLOUR: Anything from black & white to full colour (make sure the colours are in CMYK format).

FORMAT: We accept raster and vector images. Raster: 300 dpi TIFF. Vector: AI or EPS.

LENGTH: Single strip: up to 2 pages. Continuing story comic: up to 4 pages per chapter. Self-contained storyline: up to 6 pages.

If you would like to submit a comic that does not fit these guidelines, email us with a description of your comic, with a 1 page mockup of the comic, if you have it, or a portfolio.

Submissions are juried by Squid & Ink editors. An editor will respond to each submission with comments, but please be patient as the jurying process can be lengthy. If we accept your submission, we will request that you licence the work to Squid & Ink, however, all the rights to the work will remain with the author(s).

Squid & Ink offers competitive rates for all advertising space.

As an introductory rate, Squid & Ink is offering a 20% discount to all advertisers who purchase space in the premier issue of Squid & Ink. Advertisers qualify for this discount for as long as they consecutively advertise with Squid & Ink.

Individuals and small businesses qualify for a further 20% discount for all advertisements purchased in the premier and consecutive issues of Squid & Ink.
